The conservative treatment of POP symptoms is based on using pessaries, which are passive medical devices that are inserted intravaginally to reduce prolapse. Pessaries come in 100+ different shapes and sizes and are fit by trial and error. We are developing a platform to quantitatively measure the anatomy and make patient-matched gynecological prosthetics (Gynethotics™), to manage pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. Our platform is data-driven, leveraging medical imaging and advanced data analysis techniques (such as artificial intelligence), and employs advanced manufacturing techniques (such as 3D printing).
